Flu Fighter

I’ve never had any fermented foods, but I hear they are good for you. This shot was taken during the First Fridays event in downtown Columbia, Tennessee (Maury County). You can read more about this outing and see more Portra 800 shots at Shuttering Thru Life.

Ninety Eight

I love classic cars. They have so much character and they were made like a tank. This late sixties Ninety Eight Oldsmobile reminds me of the old Pontiac Grand Ville our family had when I was a kid. I captured this old classic at a First Fridays event in downtown Columbia, Tennessee. You can see more Portra 800 shots from the event at Shuttering Thru Life.

The Farmer’s Daughter

This young lady and her husband operate a local farm that provides the community with fresh foods. They run a program called Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). This program gives the public direct access to fresh produce. You can see more pictures from this outing at Shuttering Thru Life.

I love the forest in Tennessee’s state parks. The landscapes are beautiful in both Summer and Winter. This picture was taken at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee (Dickson County). You can see more of my work at Shuttering Thru Life.

Bridge to Somewhere

Another shot of my favorite bridge, the Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge. This is one of the main attractions in Franklin, Tennessee (Williamson County). You can see more of my work at Shuttering Thru Life.

War Machine

The cannon at the Spring Hill Battlefield in Spring Hill, Tennessee (Maury County) is a popular destination. Runners and walkers frequent the area for exercise. The long ascent to reach the cannon is enough exercise for me. You can see more of my work at Shuttering Thru Life.

Piano Praise

Olympus OM1 / Olympus OM Zuiko 28mm f3.5 / Kodak TRI-X 400 / The Film Box Lab

I made this photo inside the small church at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee (Dickson, County). This is one of my favorite fine art pieces. I actually made a print of this and framed it for a fellow colleague who was retiring. I found out she was married in this church and her wedding music was played on the piano in the picture. You can see more of my work on my main site, Shuttering Thru Life.
